Expert has a patent on a computer algorithm for predicting future behavior based on a combination of physical knowledge, probability theory, and sensor readings, a patent that has been used by industry to predict arisrcat corrosion. Expert has a great knowledge of Euclidean geometry, including a publication involving four-dimensional geometry. He is a recognized guru on physics topics for the ABC. He has also worked extensively on modeling high-speed communication, and the growth of micro-algae.
