Strong technical leadership in model-based controls /system architecture development, Hardware-In-Loop (HIL) and Software-In-Loop (SIL) simulation.

Expertise in sensors, actuators, system dynamics, CAN (J1939…) communication, calibration tools (Canape, Inca), and RP tools (dSpace micro-autobox/HIL, Mototran ECU, ETAS LabCar and ADI RTS).

Doctoral, Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in electrical engineering and applied mathematics. Over 17 years of experiences in automotive industry after PhD, plus several years in academic fields.

Good publication records in referred journals and conference proceedings.

Expert designed three way catalytic converter monitor algorithm for production vehicle; He also developed adaptive cruise control for R&D; For diesel engine, he developed model-based engine control for the engine meeting tier 4 emission without aftertreatment device. Besides engine controls, Expert. Expert also worked on emission aftertreatment, he developed reformer/LNT/SCR controls and diagnostics strategies for medium duty and heavy duty engines. In his early career after PhD, he developed chassis stability controls, estimation and diagnostics strategies.
