Expert is an expert in all aspects of experimental research. He is proficient in conceptual design through R&D, prototyping, and testing. He is also proficient in many technology areas including digital and analog electronics, data acquisition; optics and electrooptics; mechanical design; r.f. and telecommunications; lasers and pulsed power technology; and spectroscopy including laser ablation, cryogenics, and vacuum technology.

He is experienced in specialty gun systems, advanced munition design, and ballistics instrumentation and research. Expert is skilled in systems engineering and analysis. He has broad experience in sensors and remote sensing. Also, he is a master machinist and is computer literate.


Expert conducts independent research and development in advanced weapon technologies, energetic materials, commercial mining and excavation technology, nondestructive evaluation, medical technology, biotechnology, antiterrorism, antidrug, antiproliferation and verification technology, and environmental monitoring and remediation technology. He maintains an extensive technical/scientific library and laboratory facility with large equipment inventory and holds secret clearance.

He provided, on request, independent expert scientific, programmatic and technical guidance to a
national laboratory for startup of an area of R&D new to the laboratory.He designed, built and integrated, on request, a customized version of an owned invention for inclusion in a major DoD research program.He worked on the design and fabrication of an airborne differential absorption lidar (DIAL) for tracking of environmental pollutants. This was designed for use in the NASA ER-2 high altitude research plane.He provided the government with independent scientific, technical, programmatic and political assistance, including numerous on-site investigations, of programs that were in serious trouble, and devised solutions. These included a space mission, exotic weapon technology both in federal labs and in industry, advanced energy storage and production technology. He has assisted numerous large and small companies with proposal and business development projects, including technical evaluation and final proposal review.
