Expert has been trained at the Equitas (Montreal) International Human Rights Training Program, studied child rights programs in the EU and UK as a Whiting Foundation Fellow, was a fellow studying extremism and terrorism through a fellowship at the Dodd Human Rights Center at the University of Connecticut, and was a National Institute of Mental Health Post-Doctoral Research Fellow in community and family violence.
She is a specialist in homeless children and families. She works with courts in NH and MA as a Guardian ad Litem and Mediator and was a member of the NH Juvenile Parole Board for a decade.
