Expert is a licensed Motor Vehicle Damage Appraiser by the NCDOI and has been in the business of appraising damaged vehicles since August 2003. He is a current member of the NCDOI External Appraiser and Repair Task Force Training in the retrieval of crash-data information, collision investigation, reconstruction training and research Collision Safety Institute (CSI).

Expert is a former used-car dealer who was in the business of buying damaged vehicles from auto salvage auctions, new/ used-car dealers and individuals, to repair for resale. He has been recognized as an expert witness in numerous North Carolina courts and has testified on behalf of both plaintiff and defense as to the vehicle values. He has more than 35 years of auto-body repair experience; obtained the I-CAR Individual Platinum training certificate in repair techniques, owned and operated his own body shop and has worked in new-car-dealership and independent body shops.
