Expert has extensive teaching, research and consulting experience in corporate finance, including areas such as capital structure decisions, capital raising including Initial Public Offerings, takeover bidding processes, corporate governance, securities fraud, and executive compensation.

Expert has published several finance articles in the leading scientific journals (including the Journal of Finance). He has teaching experience at all levels, including executive education. He has acted as consultant for government agencies and for several listed and non-listed companies.

Helping the board of a Norwegian listed company to sort issues regarding the company's capital structure and the board's relation to the company's management. This work included discussing both capital structure and corporate governance issues. Issues concerning possible takeover attempts were also discussed.
