Expert has been board certified in plastic surgery by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He specializes in cosmetic and plastic surgery for the face and body, having performed more than 11,000 operations. Over the course of his career, he has performed more than 4,500 rhinoplasties (nose surgeries), 1,500 liposuctions, 2,000 breast enlargements, and 1,500 eyelid rejuvenations as well as numerous of other common plastic surgical procedures. He has extensive experience with Silicone Breast Implants and took part in the Gummy Bear Implants / Cohesive Gel Silicone Implants study. He has been featured on many national television programs including 20/20, Oprah, CNN, NBC and many others and has been recognized in several national print media including the New York Times, Vogue, Harpers Bazaar, and many others.

From his expertise in cosmetic plastic surgery and 45 years of extensive experience in practice, he has also developed several techniques of his own in the areas of liposuction, breast augmentation, nasal reconstruction, and jaw enlargement. He currently owns and runs his own cosmetic plastic surgery practice, providing consultation and services in cosmetic surgery. He has published two books in cosmetic surgery, describing every known plastic surgery operation and their risks. His latest book describes new techniques and technology that have advanced plastic surgery, explaining how the new developments can affect potential clients and future patients of plastic surgery.

Expert has served as a plastic surgeon on several humanitarian efforts including performing reconstructive surgery in Afghanistan, Kenya, Ecuador, USSR, Latvia, Kosovo and Albania and Tanzania as well as assisting during crisis and disasters such as in Israel during the Yom Kippur War (1973), in the Honduras during the 1974 Hurricane Fifi and in Guatemala during the 1976 Earthquake.

BREAST AUGMENTATION (mammoplasty): He is an expert in evaluating the best candidates for breast enhancement surgery based on realistic expectations, good health, healthy diet, history of physical activity and emotional health. He ensures that patients are well informed of the risks and benefits, the pros and cons, and that their expectations meets his abilities by providing pre-surgical and post-surgical consultations. He also walks each patient through the procedure by providing various incision options, implant placement options, correction options and expectations so that they are aware of what will occur during surgery.

FACIAL PLASTIC SURGERY (facelift): Expert is an expert in determining the best candidacy for facial plastic surgery based on age, skin elasticity and bone structure. He particularly focuses on facelifts surgeries, but has performed several facial reconstructive surgeries in cases of accidents. His consultations include evaluation of the face, skin and underlying bone, evaluation of medical history and complications such as blood pressure, blood clotting problems and scar tendency. He also is keen in explaining the type of facelifts he will perform, the risks and the costs involved, allowing patients to ask questions at any given time.

RHINOPLASTY: Expert is familiar with both closed rhinoplasty and open rhinoplasty techniques. However, he believes that open rhinoplasty is unnecessary and produces less satisfactory results than closed rhinoplasty. He is an expert in evaluating and determining a good candidate for rhinoplasty based on the criteria: large nose, long nose (plunging or drooping nasal tip), large hump on nasal bridge, ill defined or bulbous nasal tip, excessively wide nose, excessively flared nostrils and breathing problems. Expert puts a lot of emphasis on an informative, caring rhinoplasty consultation as an important first step for patients considering nose surgery. He ensures an open and effective dialogue pre-surgery (to discuss reasons, risks and benefits as well as to answer any questions the patient may have) and post-surgery (to ensure complete patient satisfaction and comfort).

LIPOSUCTION: Expert has developed a highly accurate method of performing liposuction using local anesthesia where patients are allowed to stand up during the procedure to be evaluated. This allows him to evaluate accuracy of fat removal (so that not too much fat is removed) and ensure that the patient is satisfied with the end result. He has performed almost 2000 liposuction operations and only seven of those patients returned for a follow-up surgery for minor corrections. Expert is also an expert in evaluating and considering ideal candidates for liposuction. His consultation with the patient ensures that their goals are realistic and healthy.
