Expert has over 15 years working with databases as well. Not only did Expert start his professional IT career with database, but he continues to work with them today on an enterprise level. As a database production support specialist and Senior Database Administrator, Expert has been able to ensure his clients the best available uptime by not only properly managing and monitoring the database systems, but also in designing effective disaster recovery plans for the database servers under his care. He worked as a Database Administrator for nearly a decade before graduating to database and application architecture. He brings to the table a level of experience that not many database administrators have, which is very available environments and also multi terabyte database systems. He has managed systems that required cross continent disaster recovery sites and multiple levels of failure for the database, including Replication, Failover Clustering, Database Mirroring and hardware SAN solutions for database backup and recovery.

As a database architect, Expert has developed multi-terabyte database solutions that enable rapid DML operations as well as sub-second response time with very complex query plans. He has the ability to think outside of the conventional box and not only look at traditional methods for database design, but look at a business and how the respective data lives. Sometimes this requires a combination of both OLTP and OLAP design features, which Expert has extensive experience in combining.

Expert has been writing in the C# programming language for over 10 years. He has written many applications for both WinForms and WebForms. He has been able to leverage this language to write logistics planning and capacity applications, Ajax Mashups, countless Web Services, and many other applications for many different industries.

In addition to his years of experience writing distributed and n-tiered applications, Expert has also written many Client/Server applications, utilizing many different backend databases and front end development languages. He has extensive experience writing applications in C#, VB, VB.NET, Delphi, C++, and Java. While Client/Server technology might be growing obsolete, Expert has the experience to look at any existing legacy system and leverage anything already in production to save on valuable development time for new products or projects.

This expert developed over nine custom in-house tools utilizing technologies from Oracle to SQL Server, Delphi to C++ and C#, traditional HTML to ASP.NET 2.0.
This client is a service provider for the largest telecommunications companies in the world, including Korean Mobile Telecom, AT&T, BellSouth, Cingular, Intercel, Powertel, T-Mobile, Verizon, Cox Communications, and many others.
This client was involved in direct consultations with the US government on the rebuilding of the Iraqi wireless communications network after the initial war with the United States.
