Expert is a two-time Emmy® Award winner and a leader in the development of profitable models for emerging technology. He has managed digital initiatives with the Walt Disney Company, DIRECTV, Comcast, Universal Studios, TiVo, Time Warner, Intel, Showtime, HBO, STARZ, Sun Microsystems, Goldman Sachs, McCann Worldgroup, TVG/Betfair, Tim Kring Enterprises, the Dutch Media Hub and various venture and private equity partners.

Expert is Principal of a media advisory firm, partner at a media brand management company, and co-founder of another consulting firm for the media and entertainment industries. He was previsouly co-founder of a VOD network available in 18,000,000 US cable homes via Comcast. As Head of Production for DIRECTV’s Advanced Services Group, Expert managed over 20 service launches across four platforms, designed the groundbreaking NFL DVR Highlights On Demand Service and was a principal contributor to the TiVo DIRECTV Master Agreement. He has provided analysis and litigation support in major matters for Comcast, Cablevision, mobile carriers and others, and is a regular speaker at events including Digital Hollywood, SXSW, PICNIC, AdTech and the TV of Tomorrow show.

Expert is a member of OVP Venture Partners’ Technology Advisory Group, the Television Academy’s Interactive Peer Group Executive Committee, the IP Media Expo, 3D World and PICNIC Amsterdam Advisory Boards, and the Producer’s Guild New Media Council. He is a magna cum laude graduate of NYU and was Adelbert Alumni Scholar at CWRU and the Cleveland Institute of Music.
