He has patents on axially laminated reluctance machine and variable speed constant frequency doubly fed machine for wind generator application.

He is in charge of product development, which includes the design and fabrication of prototypes for machines for special applications. For various companies, he has developed design programs and software for machines. The latest addition to his design capability is the design and optimization of single-phase capacitor excited brushless generators.
