Worked for several different Electric Submersible Pump manufacturers over the last 25 years.

Early in my career I worked on a drill ship as assistant storekeeper and personally inventoried all of the spare parts on the rig. This involved taking the operation and parts manual for every piece of equipment and identifying and counting each component. I counted all pieces for all machines from the ice cream machine, diesel generator sets, drawworks, electrical equipment, etc. This was fantastic experience in understanding how machines work that stayed with me my whole life.

National Supply's Drilling Equipment Division (NDE) hired me to sell drilling rigs in South America (I am fluent in Spanish and Portuguese). After selling two drilling equipment packages to Petrobras, NDE transferred me to Rio de Janeiro. Our team bought a large tool joint/drill pipe factory in Salvador, Brasil where we also started manufacturing drilling equipment.

I have personally assembled and disassembled all of the main components of the esp system. I have spent countless hours on location supervising the pull and installation of esp equipment. Gathered all well information necessary to design an esp system and designed many esp systems using various software programs and manually. Witnessed the teardown of failed esp equipment on many occasion to identify the root cause of failure and recommend improvements in each component and the system as a whole.

Managed the start-up of an esp company in Venezuela and was part of a team that started a very successful esp operation in Commodoro Rivadavia, Argentina. Traveled to Guatemala, Peru, Ecuador, Brasil, and Colombia designing and selling esp equipment. The company I was working for transfered me Oman to oversee our operation with PDO. Our team spent months working on a bid for the upcoming tender to manage hundreds of esp wells which we won.

We moved back to the US and, in order to provide a more stable environment for my daughter, I took a job as an Account Manager with an esp manufacturer, where I subsequently worked as a Technical Manager and Sales Manager. My daughter has full 5-year scholarship as a National Merit Scholar at the University of Oklahoma. She just completed her first semester (although she's technically a junior because of high school AP credits) and has a 4.0 in Chemical Engineering with a minor in Spanish. I'm considering my next career move.
