I have been a physician assistant specializing in emergency medicine since 2008. Throughout that time, I have been in leadership and development. In 2013, I became one of 4 Regional Directors for my company, overseeing over 350 PA's and NP's throughout the nation ranging from rural to sububuran to level 1 trauma centers. I have worked for 3 different major ER staffing groups and continue to maintain a strong network with leadership at all these companies. Likewise, I have worked a number of urgent cares. I also have implemented and directed Hospitalist and ICU PA's and nurse practitioners. I also am the son of a hospital attorney and feel this has given me a unique perspective on the legal aspects of PA and NP care and supervision. I am an adjunct professor at a number of PA schools and guest lecture at others regularly. I also have worked in both primary care and cardiology. While I have never personally been sued for my care, I have been involved with a number of cases as an expert witness over my career. I have always wanted to expand into the medical legal arena and feel that my background, speaking abilities, and composure can make me an asset in expert review and opine in cases related to physician assistant and nurse practitioner care and supervision.
