He supported strategic planning for antenna technology and design methodology. His accomplishments include execution of multi-year, $20 million to $30 million next generation AESA design and development programs. He was the IPT Lead for a succession of Active Electronically Scanned Antenna (Active ESA) development programs. His duties have included conceptual design and development of next generation AESA technologies including transmit/receive modules, RF, digital, analog, and thermal distribution, and power and control subsystems.
He has been Deputy Engineering Manager of $450 million radar development program. He was responsible for ensuring hardware and software design and development meet requirements. Currently, Expert is responsible for hardware and software design and development. He accomplished strategic planning and execution of next generation technology development, including internal and external R&D.
Expert is an experienced technical manager with a proven ability to lead high performance integrated product teams in providing conceptual development through delivery of superior products and services to a variety of customers. He has lead many IPT's responsible for the design, development, and transition to production of the first production Passive ESA antenna subsystem.
Provided evaluations of emerging technology companies for solid state and thin film batteries. Provided consulting (evaluations, comparisons, experiences, etc.) of various high technology companies for Venture Capital firms.
