Dr. has extensive experience in neurology and epilepsy. He has trained and worked at some of the top institutions in the US in the field including the Cleveland Clinic, University of Chicago and the Employer. He is well versed in the comprehensive management of patients with epilepsy including cases of refractory epilepsy which do not respond to standard antiepileptic drug therapy. He has significant experience with all aspects of epilepsy surgery and the pre-surgical evaluation as well as other non-pharmacologic measures for management of this condition. He has extensively used most available traditional and non-traditional methods for the management of this condition. Pediatric epilepsy is an additional area of interest for Dr. who has been involved with management of scores of patients with this condition.
Additional areas of interest and expertise include Neurophysiology (EEG, EMG, Evoked Potentials and Sleep Studies), headaches, stroke, dementia (alzheimers disease etc), movement disorders (parkinson's disease etc) neuromusular disease and multiple sclerosis (MS). Dr. is board certified in Neurology with additional certification in Clinical Neurophysiology, by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
Dr. has done extensive research in neurology and neurophysiology, magnetoencephalography (MEG) and epilepsy surgery and pediatric epilepsy. He has been involved in clinical trials in epilepsy and multiple sclerosis.
