• Expert Successfully designed and developed novel Delta-V controlled DO/pH Stat (for defined media) and RQ feeding (for complex media) strategies and solved theoretical and practical feeding control problems. Based on these strategies, a lot of fermentation research projects might only be an experiment here.
• Expert Independently completed and supervised more than 60 projects with 15 microorganisms. Of those commercial products, seven products were one-step scaled up from 30 liters Lab scale to 93/190KL commercial-scale production. Furthermore, NONE of their very first engineerings runs failed. Also, based on available information, Expert was the first one to scale up three strains (Schizosaccharomyces pombe, Pseudomonas fluorescent, and Pichia pastors) to 190KL commercial scale 10-15 years ago.
