The second related to bank membership in the leading card associations, he discussed why members were not permitted to issue American Express or Discover cards. The interchange and bank membership work addressed the US and international markets.

For a law firm involved in federal legislation related to online commerce, he provided information on how payment cards could be used to limit minors (age <18 years old) from accessing adult content. For a Fortune 100 financial services company served as an expert witness related to credit card loyalty and reward programs, explained the business model for such programs and the typical contract terms used to establish and manage such programs. He is currently serving as an expert witness in a trade secrets lawsuit for a credit card rewards company.

Due diligence for private equity funds for acquisitions in the payment industry. Led post merger teams in operations, risk management and marketing. Specific engagements include support of Navigation Capital Partners acquisition of Prepaid Solutions from West Suburban Bank.Assisted the leading reputation management company, Redwood City based Reputation Defender successfully raise a Series B round of funding from Bessemer Ventures and Kleiner Perkins.
