Expert has 40 years of experience dealing with Fire Alarm, Intercom, Clock, Intrusion, Access Control and CCTV Systems. His career started as a field service technician. He then used the technical knowledge acquired in the field, to graduate to system engineering, design and sales. He has extensive experience interfacing with the electrical consruction industry, as well as dealing with end users. As a result, Expert is extremely well versed in reading and interpreting contract plans and specifications documents. He is experienced in the application of codes and standards, including the National Building Code, the National Fire Alarm Code, NFPA 72 and National Electrical Code, NFPA 70, as they relate to low voltage systems. Expert also has extensive experience dealing with the Architectural/Engineering commiunity, assisting engineers with product application, specification writing, code interpretation and system layout. He is particularly familiar with fire and smoke sensing devices and is able to articulate on the differences between photoelectric, ionization, heat and infrared beam detection technologies. He is familiar with the different types of fire alarm systems, including conventional, addressable, non-voice, voice and fireman communication systems. He has had first hand experience with Simplex, EST (Edwards), FCI/Gamewell and Firelite and is familiar with Siemens, Notifier and Silent Knight. Expert is very experienced in the interface of fire alarm systems with sprinkler systems, fire pumps, HVAC and building automation systems. He is well versed in the integration and interfacing of multiple fire alarm systems with each other.

Expert also has experience in the area of intercom and clock systems, particlarly as they are used in educational facilities. He understands the importance of proper integration of intercom and clocks, with the facility telephone system, to achieve an integrated communication platform. He has dealt first hand with Simplex, Class Connection and Dukane products and also has knowledge of Bogen, Telecor and Rauland-Borg. In the area of security systems, Expert is familiar with access control, intrusion and CCTV applications and has worked with Bosch, Pelco, AMAG and Honeywell/Ademco technoligies.
