FOOD QUALITY ASSURANCE AND QUALITY CONTROL. Expert has been involved with theory, application, and implementation of quality systems, and can identify essential testing to control desired attributes.
SALAD DRESSING. Expert is extensively skilled in all aspects of ingredient usage, product development, emulsion stability, and manufacturing. His expertise also includes microbial control theory and practice.
FOOD REGULATIONS; FOOD PRESERVATION. Expert keeps up-to-date on new and past laws as they relate to FDA and USDA products. He is also skillful in developing ingredient statements and nutritional breakdowns.
FOOD INGREDIENTS; NEW PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT. Expert has a strong command of ingredient function, sources, and costs, and can apply the proper ingredient in the development of new products.
GOOD MANUFACTURING PRACTICE (GMP); FOOD SAFETY. Much of Expert's career has been in plant environments, from both an audit and line viewpoint. He has a thorough understanding of safety issues as they relate to the product and process environment.
FRUIT PRESERVES; SWEETENERS. Expert has formulated and run quality systems on fruit preserves and sweeteners. Sweeteners have applications to fruit products, as well as a host of other products.
DRY FOOD PRODUCTS. Expert has extensive experience working with coffee, tea, cocoa, spices, coatings, seasonings, and desserts. He also has a strong background in formulation and manufacturing.
Expert is experienced in on-site auditing of producers, distribution centers, and transport vehicles for food safety. He has also provided on-site product development as well as problem solving (formulation or processing).
