Expert holds a B.A. in Criminal Justice from Western New England College and a M.S. in Forensic Science from The University of New Haven. He has been employed as a Latent Print Examiner since 1995, working with The New Hampshire State Police Forensic Laboratory, The New York City Police Department Forensic Laboratory and currently with The Connecticut DESPP Forensic Laboratory. Expert is also an adjunct professor at The University of New Haven instructing Fingerprint Analysis in the graduate program. He has extensive experience testifying as an expert in latent prints in New Hampshire, Massachusetts, New York and Connecticut. Additionally, Expert is a member of the CT IAI and The Chesapeake Bay Division of the IAI. Throughout this period of time, I have demonstrated communication skills and competency in the following aspects (not limited to):
- Successfully completed training from the FBI, Massachusetts Police Academy, Institute of Police Training and Management and The International Association for Identification.
- Utilized biometric fingerprint and palm print databases in respect to The Connecticut State Automated Fingerprint Identification System and The Next Generation Identification (FBI) fingerprint and palm print database.
- Providing court testimony including testimony in State and Federal Courts.
- Utilized numerous physical and chemical development methods on thousands of evidentiary items.
- Conducted thousands of latent print comparisons
- Providing training to State and Local law enforcement personnel.
- Lectured at Forensic/ Law Enforcement Conferences.
