Expert is an independent nuclear power consultant in Sweden serving the Swedish and international nuclear power companies with expertise in radiation and nuclear safety related tasks. He was the head of the Radiochemistry Department in Ringhals Nuclear Power Plant and worked as a radiation engineer at ABB-Atom in Sweden. Expert graduated from the University of Lund in Sweden with a degree in Radiation Physics. He has been an assistant at the University and later studied Management, Economics and Business Administration.

Radiation level build-up measurements in primary reactor systems at Forsmark Nuclear Power Plant, Sweden.

Expert has been the project leader for the annual measuring campaign performed annually. May 2001 – December 2005:
Decommissioning of the Central Radiation Laboratory (ACL) at Studsvik.

Expert has been engaged by the owner to participate in the project as an independent expert within the work with clearance of the facility.
The main task of this function has been:
Design of internal standards for clearance (based on the regulations);
Choice of measuring techniques;
Data management;
Discussions with the authorities .
February, 2000 – April 2000:
Implementation of measuring methods for environmental monitoring of radioactive releases from Forsmark Nuclear Power Plant in cases related to reactor accidents.

New measuring methods, based on the latest technical improvements have been introduced to the Forsmark NPP. Expert’s assignment was to match the new software with the emergency equipment for measuring and assessment of contamination of the environment due to accidents with releases of activity. Procedure writing.
November, 1999 – February, 2000:
Ontario Power Generation, Canada. Expert investigations as follows:

Improvement of routines for material transfer to and from controlled areas at the Ontario Power Generation NPPs;
Surface and mass activity limits for clearance.
