Expert is metallurgical engineer with knowledge to solve a lot of problems that the wire mills face. He is a specialist on very high drawing speeds including the expertise for maintaining this high speeds trough the year.
He is very able to find quickly where the problems are. From wire rod defects, poor quality of auxiliary materials, die schedule, machine set up and special requirements from customers.
Expert has also a lot of experience in metal working related to wire drawing, such as welded mesh, nails, wire straightening, chain link fence.
Expert has a very broad experience in managing wire mills plants. He has been the leader in getting the ISO 9000 certification. He is very able to manage a metallurgical laboratory and its procedures for many metallurgical tests, as well the chemical analysis related to the wire. He also can prepare and negotiate the Union’s contracts. He has been for many years the chief manager for production areas. He has been Process Engineer, Chief Metallurgist, Plant Manager, Operations Manager and General Director in wire mills plants so he has the complete view for a wire mill. He can foresee any implications of a technical decision on the profit of the company or personnel and or union’s effects. He also is able to assess the Return On Investment for any wire project, from costs of production, investment, finance, break even point, cash flow, etcetera.
He started up five new wire drawings machines on Rumania. All of them were left working at the highest speeds on the worldHe started two wire drawings machines on Russian Federation for high carbon steel on the first week of commissioning leaving the company working at high speed-He started two high carbon steel machines in Portugal for producing upholstery spring wire for 30 m/sec using machines without tuner roll sensor.He set up the process for 15 wire drawing machines for low carbon at its highest speeds. This was made i Russian FederationHe set up the wire drawing process for a staples company in USA. He got bright wire at high speed so the customer could get the brightness without galvanizing.
