Expert has over ten years of combined experience and has completed over 10,000 estimated inspections utilizing building codes as a city building inspector, code enforcement inspector, and real estate inspector. He has utilized building codes for new construction inspections, code violations, real estate inspections, and properties require building code compliance investigations.

As a City Building Inspector, Expert possess extensive knowledge in building construction regulations. Regulations including new construction, existing construction, land use, safe occupancy, and unpermitted construction issues with residential, commercial and industrial land uses.

He has extensive experience in the inspection of residential, commercial and industrial facilities. Inspections for code compliance and safe occupancy, including mechanical, plumbing, electrical, foundations and roof structures. Inspection experience includes code compliance inspections, new construction, damaged building assessments including red tagging unsafe structures for city building departments.

Expert has extensive knowledge in minimum building safety standards. This includes inspections regarding safe use and occupancy. As a city code enforcement inspector, building inspector, and real estate inspector the inspection of safe occupancy is his primary responsibility. Expert has inspected over 10,000 residential homes and commercial businesses involving code compliance and safety during his career. This experience includes completing damage assessments from vehicles crashing through buildings and the assessment of fire damage in relation to safe occupancy.

Expert has extensive construction inspection experience including framing, plumbing, mechanical, electrical systems in residential uses and secondary knowledge of construction practices in commercial and industrial land uses. He specializes more in residential construction and building code compliance. Expert also has extensive experience in the inspection of construction sites for storm drain compliance. This includes best management practices in reducing the amount of urban runoff to the storm drain system as part of the National Pollution Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Program.

He has extensive residential building construction experience as a city building inspector and as a private residential real estate inspector. Expert has completed thousands of residential building construction projects as a city building inspector and has performed over 250 private real estate inspections for real estate buyers, sellers, and agents. In 2004, he started a business that specializes in the assessment of construction defects for real estate buyers. As the owner, he has saved buyers thousands of dollars in discovering construction defects including foundations requiring repair and engineering analysis, faulty wiring and suspect main electrical panels, framing damage, roof damage assessment, and other related defects.

Expert has extensive experience in the inspection and assessment of residential housing as a city building inspector, code enforcement officer, and as a residential real estate inspector. Inspections include single-family residences and multi-family dwellings including condominiums and townhomes.

Since 1997, Expert has utilized the Uniform Building Code to complete inspections of residential, commercial, and industrial facilities. He became an International Code Council certified Building Inspector in 2005. He utilizes the building code daily as part of his normal duties as a city building inspector and real estate home inspector.

Reviewed case documentations, inspector reports, seller disclosure, and other court filed documents. Provided preliminary reports involving the home inspector’s negligence regarding a plaintiff's real estate transaction. Expert was qualified as an Expert Witness in the field of Home Inspection by the judge and testified for the case, a jury rendered a judgment against the defendants.Evaluating home inspector standards of care regarding a residence that possessed a sloped floor that was not level after property was purchased by owner. Case was being prepared for litigation, consultation and inspection was provided for plaintiff.
