Expert was part of the team responsible for setting up 2 wireless broadband telecommunication operators in Nigeria. He is knowledgeable in IP multimedia systems, Internet security and telecom management. He has also served as a Telecommunication Consultant to the World Bank and USAID carrying out studies on various telecommunication trends in Nigeria and the West African sub-region on behalf of both organizations.

With a Bachelor's degree in Communications Engineering from Federal University of Technology in 1998, he has served as Network Engineer with Prodigy International from 2000 to 2002. He also served as Head of Operations with Startech Connections from 2002 to 2005, before launching out with his own company. Among his professional accomplishments, he is proud of the fact that they have managed to successfully expand their Company not only throughout Nigeria (where they have 2 offices and over 30 employees), but also undertaking projects in other countries in Western Africa. He has undergone trainings in companies such as Microsoft, Lucent Technologies, L3 Communications, Cisco and Verizon. He also has a diploma in Telecommunication Markets in Changing Telecoms Environment from the United States Telecommunication Training Institute in Washington, DC.

Expert. Expert is a member of the Project Management Institute and The Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers. He was listed in the 2008 International Who’s Who of Professionals. His job as the CEO of Layer3 has exposed him to knowledge of telecoms regulations in Nigeria and West Africa as he worked closely with the telecoms regulator in the country. His experience over the years has exposed him to working with various OEMs such as Juniper Networks, Cisco, ECI Telecom, Patton, Barracuda Networks, Alvarion, Harris, Ceragon, Microsoft, Polycom and Ericson. His company, Layer3, remains the only Juniper Networks' certified partner in Firewall and VPN in the whole of Western Africa.

He was the Lead Consultant on the Nigerian STEP-B Project where he conducted the Study of Broadband Connectivity for Higher Educational Institutions (HEI)in Nigeria. The study served as the framework for the World bank to issue a $108 million loan to HEIs to fund broadband networks for these institutions.He has consulted for several consulting groups, including GLG, on several telecom projects in Nigeria and West Africa.
