Most businesses have longstanding relationships with insurance brokers. In Expert's experience, there is tremendous value in hiring an independent third-party consultant who has no vested interest in your current paradigm. Over the last five years there has been significant changes in both the property and casualty and the life and health arenas. As a result, many of those changes have resulted in less expensive/more innovative solutions and increasingly efficient platforms for long-term risk planning. One mid-sized client Expert has worked with saved a quarter million dollars as a result of my counsel. At times, that may include helping some organizations go through a controlled bid process with 5 to 7 well respected brokers. These projects generally take 3 to 5 months to complete but offer tremendous value.
A Strategic Plan Is a critical component to an organization no matter how large it is. It generally includes an extended off-site meeting with key principals. A traditional planning approach includes certain elements (e.g. vision, mission, SWOT analysis, values, goals, and tactics). A draft of the plan is delivered with full detail for Year 1 and Phase 1, 2 and 3 scoped out. These take time and energy, but are critical to success.
Have reviewed technical sales and marketing platforms for efficacy and results for several large national and regional clients.
