The Hybrid Vehicle teams have won 5 national championships in the last 6 years and are the current two-time national champions. The Baja team has won two national championships in addition to placing second place twice at the SAE collegiate competitions in the last four years.
He oversees the Phil Meyers Automotive Center located in the Engineering Centers Building at UW- Madison. The new 5000 sq. ft. facility is the home to the Baja, Formula, Snowmobile and Hybrid vehicle teams. Expert is an avid machinist and welder and spends several nights a week in the garage advising and mentoring students.
