Expert is an American Meteorological Society ("AMS") Certified Consulting Meteorologist and Certified Broadcast Meteorologist with over 20 years of weather, climate, and critical incident communications experience. As a team and project leader within a prestigious broadcasting network, he has helped create and implement brands, best practices, and graphical assets in use at local and national media outlets across the United States. A member of Phi Beta Kappa, Expert received his Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in Atmospheric Science from the University at Albany. There, he studied under some of the world’s leading atmospheric scientists, completing original research to develop a forecasting method now used by the National Weather Service.

A routine contributor to national and international conferences, Expert engages face-to-face with the world’s leading experts on climate change and weather. He has collaborated on projects with cutting-edge research institutions including NASA, Yale University, George Mason University, University at Albany, the National Weather Association, the Glen Gerberg Weather and Climate Summit, and Climate Central, among others.
