Request Expert

Expert (prefers Expert ) has been involved with pure, distilled, and demineralized water analysis and methods of purification for over 20 years. With a broad knowledge base and many accomplishments, he has been involved in developing and publishing most of the standards for laboratory and process pure water. He is an invited speaker for both purifying methods and analysis techniques internationally. Many methods of purification and analysis have been developed under his leadership. He can answer questions concerning demineralizer equipment and the entire demineralization process. Particle, chemical, and microbiological contamination analysis and control in trace quantities have been a major focus of his research and development.

Expert has developed and marketed leading-edge technologies for online measurement of trace contaminants in pure water equipment and systems. He was a founder and CEO of a leading international company in this field.

Expert's experience and knowledge related to microcontamination control and precision cleaning methods has been gained over the past 30 years by work with the semiconductor, aerospace, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, and power generation industries. He has chaired committees that developed and published standard methods for microcontamination control. He was a member of the original team that compiled the DoD document concerning the design and operation of "clean rooms." He was a member of Millipore Corporation's Research and Development, Quality Control, and Marketing of Contamination Control Programs for 14 years. He is currently the technical editor for the Journal of Institute of Environmental Sciences.

Expert was responsible for developing the original manual method for sampling and measuring contamination in clean rooms. He was a member of the DoD team that published the document that provided the base for the current Federal Standard 209 for clean rooms. Having served on professional committees (ASTM, SEMI, etc.), he was instrumental in developing methods and publishing standards. He is a technical editor of an international journal that focuses on clean room technology for advanced processes.

With over 30 years of experience in the filtration business, Expert has considerable knowledge of a variety of filters. He was one of the original research and development engineers with the Millipore Corporation, the leading international precision filtration supplier. He was involved in the early stages of development of RO and UF applications.

Having been involved with both pure water systems and methods of analysis, Expert has provided services to numerous clients as an auditor and troubleshooter on pharmaceutical and semiconductor water treatment systems.
