Dr. is a Neurologist and Translational Neuroscientist at Employer since July 2011. He was a Neurologist and Translational Neuroscientist at the University of Pennsylvania, a position he has held from July 2010 to June 2011. Dr. earned the MD and PhD at Brown University and co-founded an organization.

At this organization he oversaw regulatory testing and data compilation for the company's first Investigational Device Exemption (IDE) application. Dr. helped design the selection criteria, safety and efficacy end points for the pilot clinical trial. He helped develop the device algorithm and worked closely with the first patient implanted. Dr's findings were published in Nature. Following his work at this organization, Dr. was an Assistant Professor at Brown, where he worked with the Nurmikko Laboratory on testing a fully-implantable multi-channel neural recording system. He then resumed clinical training, first in internal medicine at Brown. Dr. completed a Residency in Neurology at the University of Pennsylvania, and received the Zeritsky Reward for outstanding research. He received a training grant from the NIH and completed a year as a Post-Doctoral Scientist and Clinical Fellow in Cognitive Neurology. Dr. joined the faculty of Employer's Department of Neurology in July 2011. Dr. clinical practice focuses on the evaluation and treatment of disorders of cognition, ranging from teenagers with concussions to older adults with neurodegenerative conditions. Dr. has expertise in cognitive neurology and clinical neurophysiology including intracranial recordings for epilepsy and intraoperative monitoring for neurosurgical and cardiovascular procedures. His current research focuses on cognitive electrophysiology, electrical and cell-based direct brain-computer interfaces.

Dr. recently provided consulting as a Key Opinion Leader to a biotech startup company group exploring neuromedical applications of an implantable technology.
