As a practicing environmental attorney for 10 years (1995-2005), he represented several clients in matters involving air quality compliance and alleged environmental effects due to air pollution. He reviewed several air pollutant effect studies and dispersion models, and conducted preliminary statistical analysis of various pollutants released to the atmosphere and relative dispersion thereof. His writing requirement to receive a Masters Degree in Environmental Science from the University of Oklahoma concerned release and dispersion of hydrogen sulfide gas from oil and gas wells, and possibility and range of toxicological effects to human receptors.

As a petroleum geologist of 10 years (1980-1990), he supervised the core sampling of several oil and gas wells, and described the lithology of those core samples as well as reviewed and utilized petrophysical analyses of the cores for further oil and gas development and exploration drilling.

As a practicing environmental attorney of 10 years (1995-2005), he has researched, reviewed, and provided legal advice from various environmental codes, both federal and state.

As a petroleum geologist with 10 years experience (1980-1990), he developed oil and gas production and exploration prospects using various geologic mapping techniques. As a practicing oil & gas attorney (1995-2005) and oil and gas regulatory advisor (1990-1995, 2005-2007), he has routinely reviewed geologic maps for trial and hearings, and supervised the development thereof.
