TRANSITION-METAL-MEDIATED ORGANIC REACTIONS. Expert and his research group have developed several new methods for transition-metal-mediated carbon-carbon formation.
CATALYSIS. Expert and his research group have developed several new methods for transition metal complex catalysis of organic reactions. They have experience in computer-based modeling of transition metal complexes and transition states, and in the use of those techniques to design improved catalysts.
He has worked with a major pharmaceutical company on improving the yield of Rh-mediated labeling.He has worked with the chemical process department of a major pharmaceutical company on developing new synthetic routes to desired chemical compounds.
