A consultant, Expert currently conducts interim management in procurement solutions, including best value; and strategic sourcing, spend analysis, contract management, program management, and supplier performance.

Expert possesses an optimistic business mindset, and his thought leadership has routinely been demonstrated as commercially and legally solid. He conducts thorough thinking and best value procurement vision in sustainable and long-term solutions and process optimizations to achieve sustainable savings.

Throughout the past 20 years, Expert has amassed a broad procurement knowledge in many commodities/categories: IT, HR, Marketing, Logistics, Professional Services, Facilities, and others. He has developed a strategic sourcing attitude and has been hired accordingly in several roles -- primarily as a trusted advisor and interim procurement manager, lead consultant, senior project buyer, or sourcing and project manager.

Expert is accustomed to collaboration and achievement in different environments, which vary from multinationals like Heineken, Randstad and Air-France / KLM to large SMB companies or (semi-)governmental organizations.

During a large number (400+) sourcing projects, Expert has developed numerous theoretical and practical skills. Honed via execution and implementation, these abilities range from managing sourcing or project teams to achieving significant saving results in negotiation processes. These positive consequences have been enacted in a variety of industries: Manufacturing, IT, Pharma, Healthcare, and Retail (FMCG).

Expert is passionate about procurement, where experts' abilities complement each other and where thought leaders strive for strong relationships. Expert have built strong networks of buyers and suppliers.

In early 2022, Expert completed his DBA in project management and program management at the Skema Business School in Lille, France. During this time, he researched 16 project management models, including different activities per model and the relationship of these activities with automation -- all with the aim of increasing project success and reducing the effort of the customer PM.
