Dra. Expert is a fully qualified clinical psychologist and organisational psychologist. She has studied psychology and medicine, specialising in the overlap between physical and psychological health. She has applied this expertise in formal health care settings, voluntary organisations (e.g. Red Cross) and in organisational context (e.g. occupational health or personnel management projects).
She has absolved postdoctoral education in methodology, psychotherapy and neuropsychology, again applying this in a wide variety of settings.
Dra. Expert has worked in the Netherlands, Germany and the United Kingdom (of Great Britain and Northern Ireland); she has pursued further education and attended/presented at conferences in the UK, Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Spain and Greece. She speaks fluent Dutch and English, has good knowledge of German and French, and reasonably knowledge of Spanish and Italian.

Please note that Dra. Expert has concluded her basic education as a medical scientist, but she is not a medical practitioner.

Although familiar and competent in work relating to children, she does prefer working with adult clients (between 18 years until totally ancient, without upper age cut-off). Her experience included working with very old people and very (cognitively) impaired people. With respect to the very impaired client population she prefers working with or through professional or family (or friends) carers.

Dutch This is Dra. Expert' native language. She speaks standard Dutch (NL), can fluently follow Flemish (some of her relatives are Flemish speaking Belgians), and can follow spoken Afrikaans.
French and German Dra. Expert has sufficient French to carry out psychotherapy and consultancy work in this language. She has translated one book from French into English and Dutch Dra. Expert is fluent in standard German. She can also follow the Austrian and Swiss variety of German fluently and has some ability to follow Yiddish through combination of German and (elementary) knowledge of Hebrew. She has in the past professionally translated German computer manuals into Dutch and English. She has worked in total about six months in Germany, and she grew up less than 10 kms from the German border, giving her a life-long exposure to the German language. During her work in Britain she has translated written materials from German to English for the benefit of her (monolingual) British colleagues and employers.
Spanish and Italian Dra. Expert has active and passive knowledge of Spanish and Italian to a degree of maintaining a conversation and reading books and articles in the original.
