He has more than twenty-two years of experience in designing RF system, RF products and RFICs. Throughout his professional career, he has designed and managed designs from concept to mass production on wireless & broadband RFICs and wireless consumer products which were sold successfully worldwide in million units. On cellular RFIC area, he has designed IF and RF integrated circuits up to 2GHz including LNA, Mixer, Biasing and PLL circuitries for CDMA, GSM cellphone standards. He also designed an IQ modulator operating from 50MHz to 2GHz for wireless infrastructure application. On broadband RFIC area, he has designed IF and RF integrated circuit including LNA, Mixer, RF attenuator, VGA, biasing, RSSI on broadband silicon tuner and satellite receiver applications. In additon, he has designed and managed designs on RFICs for ISM frequency bands (315/433/868/915MHz) with building blocks of LNA, Mixer, VCO, Power Amplifer, RSSI, Op. amp., GMC-filter, Bangap biasing and LDO. A 40V PWM dc-dc converter chip was also developed by him. On RF system engineering, he has successfully developed numerous wireless consumer products, including 46/49MHz/900MHz cordless telephones and 150/280/450MHz pagers. He has experience on RF design and application development of AMPS and GSM mobile telephones. He is experienced in providing technical supports for clients on RF PCB design, RF product design, RF production line support, antenna design and FCC/ETSI compliance consultancy in ISM frequency bands. He is also experienced in preparing and giving professional training courses in RF system design, RFIC design, RF PCB design and Antenna design.
