Expert has worked in research for over 25 years. Since 1995, he has lead several high-tech, high-achieving research teams. His teams have made contributions in computer security and wireless communications. He has a track record creating environments in which collaboration is central; the results are interdisciplinary solutions to hard problems.

Most of his professional career has revolved around communications (wireless & radio). In addition, he has been an active amateur radio operator for over 30 years. Therefore, communications is central to almost all aspects of his life. Expert currently leads a team of Ph.D. level researchers that are making contributions in software-defined radio, cognitive radio, wireless networking (802.11, and 802.16/WiMAX), LTE, MIMO systems, the IP Multimedia Subystem (IMS), and wireless delay tolerant & mesh networking.

Expert's own research areas include wireless networking and communications (e.g., Bluetooth and 802.11), and applying decision theory & game theory to next-generation wireless technology (e.g., cognitive radio and wireless routing protocols).

Experience in developing hardware & software prototypes and systems, and conducting reverse engineering. Expert in leading and managing high-performing technical teams. Over a decade of college teaching experience (undergraduate & graduate). Leadership experience in diverse, technical environments. Excellent record in solving complex, technical problems.
