Expert has acted as a notified body for ATEX and presented a number of papers to the institute of
mechanical engineers (IMECHE) and the institute of engineering technology (IET).

Expert is registered with the ICHEME as a professional process safety engineer, is a chartered engineer
with the IET, and is a member of the IET and Safety and Reliability Society.

Expert has developed fire load exceedance model in order to estimate the fireload and the passive fire protection requirements.Consequence modelling for a number of offshore and onshore assets to determine fireloads and blast loads.
Developed dropped object model for subsea and topsides to determine the risk from dropped objects. Extensive experiece in QRA, SIL and LOPA assessments.
Has been active in the UK safety case thorough review which is part of the requirements for comply with the Safety Case 2005 Regulations.
This is a thorough review of the safety case including review and audit of the safety management system, all risk assessment for the installation including QRA, consequence analysis, risk reduction and mitigation measures.Review of detail design to ensure identified safety critical systems are designed, constructed against defined performanace standards.
