Expert Legal Consulting is a firm devoted to providing consultation to Medical Malpractice and Personal Injury attorneys. Specifically, in the cases of surgical malpractice and personal injury spine claims causing life altering or life ending dispositions. We are able to assist the legal team in understanding the medical facts that have resulted in poor patient outcomes when medical care was provided “below the Standard of Care”. We are also able to review images (MRI, CT scans, X-ray, etc.) and the radiology reports that accompany them to find inconsistencies in the findings of the radiologist, surgeon, and opposing legal team. Additionally Expert Legal Consulting can assist the legal team in calculating the cost of future care needed based on published medical literature to help their client get a settlement that will last a lifetime.

When he was a college student he met an acquaintance who was a young personal injury attorney out of Miami. He knew that expert was in the medical field working his way through school. He told him he had a client that was involved in a motor vehicle accident with a serious spine injury and had become incontinent as well as suffered from chronic pain. The attorney stated that his client was pushing for him to go to trial and they already had a settlement offer of $700,000. The attorney was nervous and expressed anxiety because the expert witness available was a physician that was demanding an exsorbent amount of money up front that he was going to have to pay out of pocket. If the trial was dismissed he was going to absorb the cost. He reviewed all the documents and medical records and spent time doing some research. He typed up a full review of the case and suggested some cross examination questions. During a conference call with the young attorney he educated him on his findings. The report was forwarded to him. About a month later, he received a call from the attorney and his senior partner they praised my efforts for helping them turn a $700,000 settlement into $2,000,000 at the trial. With expert's help the law firm helped their client receive justice and a settlement that would last them a life time.
