• Led the team as Project Leader in ETSI that standardised the technical requirements for Euro ISDN.
• Contributed to the standardisation of VoIP (QoS, MOS, Packet Loss, Delay and Jitter) as part of the UK Ofcom committee on quality of service.
• Suggested a new telephone numbering scheme for fixed line, mobile and IPT for the Seychelles that was accepted by the Seychelles Government and the Indian Ocean Commission.
• Set up from scratch and managed the Voice and Switching Department for Sky Network services.
• Arbitrated on behalf of the UNHCR and recommended the award of a worldwide network contract to one of six vendors.
• Worked with Ofcom and BT so that a start-up company could become a public Telephone Operator and offer unified communication services and have interconnect with BT.
• Engaged by the European Commission to lead telecommunication’s harmonisation projects in the Czech Republic and Cyprus.
