Request Expert

Expert has been engaged in the evaluation of thermochemical, thermophysical, and transport property data of organic compounds and mixtures. He has extensive experience in developing large databases to store such information. He can consult generally on thermophysical property data for pure organic compounds and mixtures, especially new refrigernat mixtues

Currently Expert is establishing a laboratory to do experimental work on mixtures. Measurements will include vapor-liquid equilibria, heats of mixing of liquids and gases, high pressure PVT, and phase equilibria measurements. In addition measurements are being made on the solubility, octanol/water coeffecients, and partition coeffecients of environmentally harmful compounds.

Expert has had extensive experience in the measurement of properties of materials, including heats of mixing, volumes of mixing, density, conductance of electrolytes, transport properties such as viscosity and diffusion. He is knowledgeable regarding calorimetry, including combustion and heat capacity. He has also conducted PVT measurements on gases.

Expert is experienced in both the theory of electrolytes and the measurement of conductance, activity coefficients, enf measurements, transport numbers, and pH.

Expert has been involved in the development of new techniques for the measurement of small quantities of mercury by a laser technique.

Expert is developing new methods (vibrating wire) to measure viscosity of fluids over wide temperature and pressure range.

Expert consulted for DuPont and Honeywell on patent infringement, and made extensive measurements on these fluids.

Expert consulted for DuPont and Honeywell on patent infringement of new refrigerants.

Expert consulted for DuPont and Honeywell on patent infringement concerning new refrigerant blends.
