Since 2014, Expert has been involved in the analysis and reconstruction of hundreds of motor vehicle crashes throughout the United States. Cases include rollovers, multi-vehicle impacts, heavy trucks, motorcycles and pedestrian impacts. Analysis and reconstruction includes, but is not limited to, the following:
- Vehicle and crash scene inspections consisting of 3-D laser scans and/or drone flights to create scaled 3-D models of damaged vehicles and crash sites
- Photogrammetry analysis to reconstruct destroyed physical evidence and damaged vehicle geometry
- Analysis using the physics simulation software HVE
- Event Data Recorder ("black box") downloads and analysis
- Mathematical analysis of crash dynamics including vehicle speeds, Delta-V and PDOF
- 3D graphics and animations
- Technical reports and exhibits for litigation

Expert is a licensed Professional Engineer in Colorado and California and an ACTAR Accredited Traffic Accident Reconstructionist. Expert is a licensed commercial drone remote pilot and a certified Bosch Crash Data Retrieval download technician and analyst. Expert holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematical and Computer Sciences and a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines.

Prior to this career, Expert was an actuary providing probability and statistical analysis for large corporations. He returned to school to obtain a second degree, a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, with the sole purpose of a career in vehicle accident reconstruction.
