The hospital had a good initial experience with its hosted-VOIP solution from Level 3 Communications (Level 3) using Cisco IP telephones. The hosted-VOIP solution offered a uniform dial plan, cost savings, easier management and attractive value-added features for multi-location organizations seeking to centralize some services and thereby reduce the cost of functions formerly performed at local offices.
