Expert is a women’s health physician, medical director, thought leader, entrepreneur, speaker, consultant, and expert. She is a champion of women’s, reproductive, and maternal health, physician wellness, and healthcare social media. She has 27 years of clinical, leadership, and entrepreneurial experience. Her mission is to empower women about their health through all stages of reproductive health, including adolescence, pregnancy, childbirth, menopause, and beyond.

Expert earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Denver in 1990 and her Doctor of Medicine degree from The George Washington University School of Medicine in 1994. She completed her obstetrics and gynecology internship and residency at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center and Hospital in 1998. She has been board certified in obstetrics and gynecology since 2001 and is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Expert practiced obstetrics and gynecology at Colorado OB/GYN Associates prior to relocating her practice to Parker, Colorado, opening her OB/GYN practice and her wellness practice. Her clinical practice is a relaxing, spa-like setting where she provides personalized, compassionate healthcare for women. She has currently been in practice for 23 years and has been a physician for 27 years. She is a solo private practice physician and the medical director and owner of both her medical practices.

Expert provides comprehensive OB/GYN care and has an interest in high risk obstetrics, minimally invasive and laparoscopic gynecologic surgery, menopause, bioidentical hormone pellet therapy, and laser vaginal revitalization. She is a maternal and reproductive health advocate and has delivered nearly 5000 babies to grow happy and healthy families. She is a women’s health and menopause expert and has successfully treated thousands of women with hormones to help them live vibrantly and age gracefully.

Expert has served in multiple physician leadership roles. She is the immediate past Department Chair for Obstetrics & Gynecology at a prestigious hospital and served on the hospital's Medical Executive Committee for 3 years. She currently serves on the Physician Leadership Council, Perinatal Committee, at this prestigious hospital's Foundation Board, and Centura Delineation of Privileges Task Force. She was selected for the Centura Physician Leadership Academy. She has a passion for physician wellness and helping physicians thrive. She is the creator and founder of a physician wellness program and was named the Medical Director. She received the Physician Humanitarian Award in 2019 for her physician wellness dedication and efforts. She serves on the Colorado ACOG education committee. She also spends considerable time mentoring teens, premed, graduate, nursing, physician assistant, and medical students to help them attain their aspirations in healthcare.

Expert is passionate about women’s healthcare and actively promotes patient education and community outreach. She has done numerous women’s health presentations and seminars. Using healthcare social media to engage, educate, enlighten, and empower women, patients, colleagues, and the community, she has become a healthcare social media pioneer and expert locally. She has done healthcare social media presentations and/or consulting for several hospitals, medical societies, practice management organizations, and healthcare colleagues, including Colorado ACOG and the 4cornersMGMA. She was also featured on Denver 9News by Cheryl Preheim as the Social Media Doctor. She maintains a women’s health blog and her social media.
