Expert has been involved in studies of angiogenesis for many years. He demonstrated the important role of macrophages in mediating angiogenesis in wound healing and inflammation. His studies of the angiogenic factors produced by macrophages has led to a deeper understanding of the role of cytokines such as TNFalpha, TGFbeta and VEGF in regulating angiogenesis. His work on regulation of angiogenesis by macrophages and macrophage-derived factors continues to be at the forefront of wound healing research.

Fibrosis is, in part, a corollary of inflammation and wound repair. Expert has been involved in studies of wound healing for almost thirty years, and his work on the role of macrophages in repair has become a central paradigm in the field. As a result of these studies, he has been involved in numerous studies of aberrant repair and fibrosis, and has much experience in this field.

Expert has acted as a project consultant for BioCure Inc., providing both in-depth scientific advice and basic in-lab. experimentation on a contract basis. He consulted for the Kendall Co., providing in-depth education in the field of wound repair and project evaluation.

Expert may consult nationally and internationally, and is also local to the following cities: New York, New York - Yonkers, New York - Newark, New Jersey - Jersey City, New Jersey - Paterson, New Jersey - Elizabeth, New Jersey - Bridgeport, Connecticut - New Haven, Connecticut - Stamford, Connecticut - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
