Expert has been Operations Manager and Managing Director of a factory with 500 workers where we made electrical generators, synchrounous and induction specialties as rotary converters 50, 60, 400 Hz. The factory built machines with power rating from farctional to 350 kW.

In his experience and knowledge, Electric Rotating Machines are equipment that converts mechanical power to electric power and vice versa they operate by the principle of magnetism where when placed close to each other and face to face equal polarity creates repulsive force and when different polarity creates attractive force, polarity is negative or positive i.e. North or South. Magnetic flux is developed by winding a coil around a magnetic material by changing the direction of the electrical power polarity is changed. Electric Rotating Machines have magnets or electro magnets, arranged in a radial symmetrical (three sides in case of three phase machines) disposition and polarity or relative position (stator to rotor) of this magnets changes by the different methods according to the design of the machine.

Design review with Engineering Changes of turbine, generators, Seals and ancillary equipment to meet original specifications, scratching out all concession request previously issued.
Shoulder to shoulder work over complete manufacturing cycle of listed components from supply chain to commissioning and start up, recovering all possible materials, documents and processes. Supervision of operations in Holland, Great Britain, Germany and Western Australia were personally conducted to ensure performance.
Progress report were issued as required for upper management and for Customer.
After 18 months of hard work and by strong control and detail work we made a late completion of the expanders project with no jeopardy to the LNG (Liquid Natural Gas 5,000 million Project) with total Customer satisfaction.

Ladies Wear apparel largest operation in México, from supply chain to outlet shops and distribution through an owned network distribution system. 30 detail shops, 500 employees, $4 million per year.
Previous to his collaboration the manufacturing of all product was made by subcontracting all sewing with 15 shops (900 headcount) located around México City.
He manage the purchasing of the largest sewing facility built in the 90’s in North America by Burlington to develop an outlet for their fabric as an strategy to compete with low price from Asia and Europe, new Industrial Park was developed (Cuidad de la Confección) with the participation of 8 other apparel manufacturers. After three years of no success and over $15 million dollar investment and without surpassing the break even point the operation was on sale.
He hired up to 300 persons and with up to 10 direct reports and no managers but supervisors He had absolute control of the operation.
In order to set up competitive salaries for sewers he implemented a breakfast and lunch (sold to cost) but with workers cost of more than half of the law’s minimum wedge, savings and cost reduction was implemented in all details from the beginning.
He handle the by-laws, operation rules and complete strategy to work 48 hours per week opposed to 40 to 43 weekly hours worked by all other factories in the Industrial park.
He was single responsible for all operation until operating break even point was reached in less than two years from the date of purchase.

Director of Projects.
He took the leadership of contracts and orders administration with a team of 8 contract managers 170 millions per year, manufacturing was dependant on supplies from Taiwan except when customers requires USA materials, coordination with Taiwan offices was not properly handled and the time zone difference was a large hurdle and getting response by e-mail was normally taking 3 days, He established a system to get response in same day by three phone calls 2:00 am, 5:00 and 9:00 p.m. I improved coordination and late responses were no trouble any more. By close and energetic supervision documentation of orders in the Syteline System was reduced from one month average to three days.
At same time he took the responsibility of warranty and field service most of the situation were left without responding to the customer then leaving strong arguments when claiming order cancellation and refund of payments, wrong installations and wrong designs were cause of claim, by understanding in detail the cause of claim I took actions to fix the problems and obtained the complete satisfaction of the customer. I saved over 5 million dollars in pending claims. Warranty and Service had a team of 6 Engineers.
