He meets specific educational and professional experience criteria and has passed rigorous testing of knowledge and communication of meteorology and forecasting. He is a two-time Emmy Award winning meteorologist and has been forecasting and reporting on severe storms for more than 28 years. Expert is currently the vice president and news director of weather operations for Employer in Denver, Colorado. He holds two United States Patents on a technology using lightning data for natural resource exploration. He has more than 20 years of experience as a consulting meteorologist including forensic meteorology, storm damage assessment, construction site selections, storm risk analysis, weather risk management and energy trading. Expert has been an adjunct professor teaching meteorology, geology and environmental science, as well as being a keynote speaker at national conferences, corporate events and conventions. Additionally, he was a storm chaser for more than 20 years following thunderstorms mainly in Texas and Oklahoma.
