Expert has worked in the field of Medical Physics for over 30 years. He completed his Post-Doctoral Training at Yale University Medical School where he later joined the faculty for several years doing research in Radiation Therapy. Moved to Wake Forest University Medical School in 1990 where he eventually became Chief Physicist and Department Vice Chairman. Co-Director of WFU Gamma Knife Program.
Was recruited to Novant Health in 2003 to become Corporate Chief Physicist, overseeing Physics and Dosimetry for all their Radiation Oncology departments.

I am the founder and President of a company that provides Medical Physics and Radiation Safety service to hospitals in the area, including one Veterinary radiation oncology department.
