A Board Certified Internist and Certified Medical Review Officer, Expert has 22 years experience in Occupational Medicine. Expert began working for industry as a staff physician for AT&T and then became plant Medical Director for General Motors. While at GM, Expert directed the plant's (2500 employees) wellness programs, drug testing programs, employee assistance (behavioral health) programs, worker's compensation and safety departments. Expert was audited at least three times by OSHA. He developed an excellent rapport with labor as well as management. Expert helped supervise the introduction of an ergonomics program and spent much time on job site evaluations.

Expert has since worked in a hospital-based Occupational Medicine program where client companies frequently call him for advice about Worker's Compensation, Drug Testing, OSHA Guidelines, Ergonomics, Department of Transportation Medical Certification, and Disability and Return To Work Issues.

Expert has submitted patent applications for two inventions that will impact safety hazards in the workplace and health care settings.

Expert is an ordained Deacon in the Roman Catholic Church. He has received training in Moral Theology and is currently the founding president of the Allentown Guild of the Catholic Medical Association.
