Expert has 35+ years experience in the industrial water and wastewater treatment field. The first 13 years were at a major glass, plastic, metal, and corrugate container manufacturer where he was responsible for all water and wastewater activities, inclusive of environmental, at 38 plant locations across the United States. Since 1987 has been the chief chemist/president of an independent water management firm that has been a leader in development and use of new technologies in the water management field. Interesting projects have included several where industrial wastewater was treated and recycled, zero blowdown operation of cooling towers, treatment and use of acid mine drainage as makeup for a trout culture station, development of electrolytic bromine as a cooling tower biocide, treatment of scrubber blowdown for reuse or discharge, and numerous projects involving removal of heavy metals from wastewater streams. Expert has also devised a complete boiler and colling water treatment chemical product line of approximately 600 products. Currently has one patent and four other pending.

Consulted with sanitary sewage authority in California as to appropriate discharge regulations for cooling tower blowdown.Interfaced between sanitary sewage authority in Pennsylvania and industial client as to appropriate discharge regulations for cooling tower blowdown.Investigated heat exchanger plugging problem at steel mill to determine cuase of plugging and corrective action. Investigated high corrosion rate in process cooling loop at plastic moulding plant as to cause and corrective action.Investigated high oil/grease in effluent from glassware manufacturing plant as to causes and corrective action.
