Actively engaged with a busy clinical practice in general surgery, critical care, emergency surgery and trauma - have been at a busy level 1 inner city trauma center and tertiary referral hospital for 9 years; previously spent 4 years active duty in the US Navy as a surgeon with 2 deployments to Afghanistan. I see a large volume of wide ranging trauma patients (blunt and penetrating) as well as emergency and elective general surgical patients. I have been reviewing cases for 7 years and can generally turn them around within 1 week if needed.
