The expert is a retired engineer with 50 years of practical motor design experience. He has been consulting full time for the last 20 plus years, designing from clean sheet paper concept, all new Stator and Rotor Lamination design. These new lamination are not the typical NEMA type, they can handle more horsepower in small frame size, and can also be used for inverter application. Weight is an important issue for railroad application, more efficient, less weight, small size motors will always provide an important factor for railroad application. The motors used for railroad application, such as radiator cooling fan motor, #1 equipment blower motor, #2 traction blower motor, EL/DB blower motor, main Gen motor, pulse filter motor, the motors used for HVAC, 3 Cylinder Compressor motor, DC grid blower motor and etc. The customers include EMD (GM), GE, Brookville, Mining, CSX, Norfolk Southern, Union Pacific, Israel, China, India, Saudi, Indonesia, UK, Euro, Alston and etc. He has designed brushless DC motor for fuel pump application and for AMMRAM missile. He has also designed Compressor motors for residential and commercial application for 10 years, these are 1 phase PSC, Split phase, Capacitor Start and 3 phase AC Hermetic motors.

Expert was a consultant at Dayton Phoenix Group for about 20 yearsConsultant for Ford Motor for over a yearConsultant for Lincoln Electric Co. for 6 monthConsultant for Litton for one projectConsultant for Yellow Spring Co. for one project
