Responsibilities:Manager: the End-of-Life Department is responsible for ensuring legal compliance with the European ELV-Directive in all European Markets for all brands of Groupe PSA (before Opel was sold from GM to PSA, responsibility included all GM brands). China, Korea, Malaysia, Thailand, Australia, etc.) and ensure local adherence to global strategy set by the Department - Support national Ministries and Automotive Associations in implementing regulations in Member States - Supervise development and implementation of national strategy - Co-operate with leading automotive manufacturers to set and execute international strategies Main task was the continuous development and successful implementation of Opel's recycling/recovery strategies in local markets. Local requirements had to be taken into account, also in very close co-operation with – mainly – BMW, VW, Ford, Renault, Toyota, but including all vehicle manufacturers, in order to minimize cost. This also included intensive travel, up to 40% of time. |
